When will I receive my payment?
If you are entitled to receive a payment, our goal is to issue your payment within 4 to 6 weeks provided we have received all necessary information to finalize your file. Submitting a complete application will help with timely processing.
Please note Trustees and Receivers are granted 45 days to provide the necessary information to Service Canada from the date of the bankruptcy or receivership. The 4 to 6 week processing time does not commence until this information has been received.
If you do not receive your payment within six weeks of applying, please contact the Wage Earner Protection Program to check the status of your application. You will need to provide your Social Insurance Number (SIN) to the agent.
