Direct deposit for apprenticeship grants

Before you apply

You will need to gather the following personal information:

• your Social Insurance Number (if applying by phone)
• the name of your bank or financial institution
• the transit number of your branch and your account number

How to apply

Sign up when you apply for grants

The easiest and most convenient way to sign up for direct deposit is when you first apply for grants. Complete the direct deposit section on your application for the Apprenticeship Incentive Grant or the Apprenticeship Completion Grant.

If you already applied for grants

You can sign up for direct deposit if you call us before we process your payment. Speak with one of our agents Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. local time, and 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in Newfoundland.
