20.0 Equality of Treatment

If a province or territory other than Newfoundland and Labrador negotiates a Labour Market Development Agreement with Canada, based on Canada's May 30, 1996 proposal, and any provision of that Agreement is more favourable to that province or territory than what was negotiated with Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada agrees, if requested to do so by Newfoundland and Labrador, to amend this Agreement in order to afford similar treatment to Newfoundland and Labrador.
