4. Research Options for Student Housing

The Youth.gc.ca Web site offers tips and links that can help you to plan your move to a new place to live.

5. Find Work Opportunities for Students

Earn money while you study. The Student Job Bank posts Canadian jobs daily specifically for students.

You may also want to research co-operative education programs to earn money while you study, and internships to get a head start on your career.

Apprenticeships also offer you a unique opportunity to be paid while working towards certification in a trade.
