Travel Document - Permanent Resident Abroad
The Travel Document - Permanent Resident Abroad program issues temporary travel documents to permanent residents of Canada abroad who do not have a permanent resident card (PR Card).

Application Information
Completed application forms must be submitted in person or by mail to a Canadian mission abroad with the following documentation:
- proof of identity, such as a passport or an identity document issued by the applicant's country of citizenship
- proof of permanent resident status, such as a returning resident permit or an original record of landing document
- a recent, passport-sized photograph
Financial Information
- There is a $50 fee per temporary travel document.
