Explore

The Explore program offers bursaries to Canadian students so that they can participate in intensive five-week language-learning courses in English or French at accredited institutions across Canada.

Eligibility Information

Participants must meet the following requirements:

• be Canadian citizens or permanent residents
• have completed grade 11, or secondaire V in Quebec, or have begun post-secondary studies before the start of the course
• have been enrolled as full-time students for at least one semester during the current academic year

Other criteria may apply.

• Applications and supporting documents must be submitted to the program coordinator in the student's province or territory of residence.

Dates and Deadlines

• Courses take place between May and September each year.
• The annual deadline for submitting applications is February 28.
