The Seed Capital Initiative provides repayable, unsecured loans to start, expand or improve a small business.

Eligibility Information
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- be residents of Atlantic Canada
- have majority ownership of their business
- other criteria may apply

- The program also provides a business counselling and training allowance to loan applicants.
- Applicants over 35 years of age can only use the loan to start a new business.
