Registration of Canadians Abroad

The Registration of Canadians Abroad service offers a consular registration service to Canadians living or travelling abroad. The service notifies registered Canadians in the event of a natural disaster or civil unrest in the country in which they are travelling.

Application Information

• Travellers who wish to register by mail or fax can submit their completed registration form to the Department in Canada or to a Government of Canada office in the country in which they are travelling or living.
• Travellers who wish to register in person must submit their completed registration form to a Government of Canada office in the country in which they are travelling or living.
