Canada Student Loans Program - Permanent Disability Benefit
The Permanent Disability Benefit (PDB) allows for the forgiveness of Canada Student Loans for persons who have a permanent disability and are experiencing hardship repaying their loans due to their disability.

Eligibility Information
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
- have a permanent disability
- be experiencing exceptional financial hardship with their repayment obligations due to their disability
- other criteria may apply

- Individuals must contact the National Student Loans Service Centre to request an application package.
