Canada Student Loans Program - Permanent Disability Benefit

The Permanent Disability Benefit allows for the forgiveness of Canada Student Loans for persons who have a permanent disability and are experiencing hardship repaying their loans due to their disability.

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • have a permanent disability
  • be experiencing exceptional financial hardship with their repayment obligations due to their disability
