Disability Benefits
If you are a Veteran with a service-related disability or another qualified individual you may be eligible for disability benefits from Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC).
There are two types of disability benefits:
Eligibility information
To receive a disability benefit, the applicant must have a diagnosed medical condition or disability and be able to demonstrate that the condition or disability is service related.

Application information
To apply for this program, complete one of the application forms below and bring it to a Service Canada Centre, a VAC district office or an Integrated Personnel Support Centre.
Applications and supporting documents submitted at a Service Canada Centre will be forwarded to VAC.
VAC will review your application and determine your eligibility for disability benefits.
