What happens if there isn't enough money in the fund?
The settlement agreement has anticipated this possibility. If the Common Experience Payment (CEP) fund is insufficient to pay all eligible recipients who have applied, the Government of Canada will add the money needed to cover all the payments. This will ensure that all eligible applicants will receive their CEP) entitlement.
