Apprenticeship Incentive Grant - Required Supporting Documents
To complete your AIG application, you are required to submit supporting documents. The table below lists the required supporting documents for each province and territory.
How to use the table:
- In the first column, find the province or territory in which you are registered as an apprentice.
- The second column indicates the apprenticeship issuing authority for that province or territory.
- The third column indicates the document you need to provide that shows proof of registration in a designated Red Seal trade as defined by the province or territory in which you are registered as an apprentice.
- The fourth column indicates the document you need to provide that demonstrates progression of the first year/level (or equivalent) or the second year/level (or equivalent), such as a letter or other official document from your apprenticeship authority.
If you do not have the required supporting documents indicated in the table, contact your provincial or territorial apprenticeship authority.
The following table lists the supporting documents issued by each province and territory. Service Canada is not authorized to rename documents listed in the table. Only a few provinces are required to issue documents in both official languages.
