Apprenticeship Completion Grant - Required Supporting Documents

To complete your Apprenticeship Completion Grant application, you are required to submit supporting documents. The table below lists the required supporting documents for each province and territory.

How to use the table:

  1. In the first column, find the province or territory in which you completed your apprenticeship.
  2. The second column indicates the documents you need to provide that show proof of your journeyperson certification.
  3. The third column indicates the authority that issues these documents.
  4. The fourth column indicates the date used to determine your journeyperson certification in a designated Red Seal trade on or after January 1, 2009.

If you do not have one or both required supporting documents as indicated in the table, please contact your provincial or territorial apprenticeship authority.

The following table lists the supporting documents issued by each province and territory. Service Canada is not authorized to rename documents listed in the table. Only a few provinces are required to issue documents in both official languages.
