Note: An electronic ROE is sent automatically by employers to Service Canada.

If you received a paper ROE from an employer and you are applying for EI, you have to submit the paper ROE to Service Canada as soon as possible after you submit your EI application. Paper ROEs are generally filled out by hand and have serial numbers that start with A, E, K, L or Z. You must either mail us the original copies of your paper ROEs or drop them off in person at a Service Canada Centre. The mailing address will be provided to you on the Information and Confirmation page once you submit your online application for EI benefits.

Please note only limited information for paper ROEs is available in My Service Canada Account.

If you have trouble viewing your electronic ROE, turn off your pop-up blocker.

If you know your employer has submitted your ROE electronically and it is not available on My Service Canada Account, call the EI information line at 1-800-206-7218.
