Chapter 19 — Employment benefits and support measures (Part II of the Employment Insurance Act)

19.3.0   Non-referred claimants

Claimants who attend a training course without being referred by an authority delegated by the Commission1 are required to meet the same entitlement conditions as any other claimant who wishes to receive benefits. It is essential that such claimants continue to seek employment in order to be entitled to unemployment benefits2.
