Use My Service Canada Account to access your Employment Insurance information

My Service Canada Account allows you to access your Employment Insurance (EI) information in one place using a secure Web site.

If you have a current or previous claim for EI benefits, use My Service Canada Account to:

  • change your mailing address and telephone number
  • sign up for direct deposit or change your banking information
  • view information on your current EI claim, including:
    • your weekly benefit rate
    • the start and end date of your claim
    • when your waiting period begins and ends
    • your allowable earnings
    • the number of weeks you will be entitled to receive benefits
    • the number of weeks of benefits you have already received
    • the payment dates
    • details about deductions from your payments
  • view information on your past EI claims
  • view electronic Records of Employment that your employers have submitted
  • view and print your EI tax slips (T4Es)
  • stop or restart the mailing of your EI tax slips (T4Es)
  • register to pay EI premiums on your self-employment income (EI special benefits for self-employed people)

On My Service Canada Account, you will also find an online help function, a list of frequently asked questions, and links to pages where you can apply for EI benefits, complete your EI report, and find a job using Job Bank.
