Library's Collection
The Departmental Library is a major source of social science books, periodicals, research papers, government documents, audiovisual and electronic resources. The collections of the Departmental Library focus on subjects such as employment, labour, industrial relations, income security and social policy.

Corporate Memory Collection
The Departmental Library also provides access to a collection of publications by Human Resources and Skills Development Canada as well as an archival collection of predecessor departments including Employment and Immigration Canada, Human Resources Development Canada, Labour Canada, Manpower and Immigration Canada, Unemployment Insurance Commission, and Citizenship and Immigration.
